State-run refiner Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) has raised its capital expenditure plan by 35% to ₹25,000 cr for FY27, focusing on petrochemicals. In contrast, Indian Oil and ONGC have reduced their budgets by 6%, planning ₹32,700 cr and ₹30,000 cr respectively. Overall, state-run oil companies aim for a total spend of ₹1.34 trillion this fiscal year.
