JSW Steel has approved capital expenditure exceeding ₹33,000 cr for FY27, part of its long-term expansion strategy. This investment will significantly support the Phase-2 expansion of its Vijayanagar plant, increasing capacity from 15 MTPA to 26 MTPA by FY30. An additional ₹2,000 cr is earmarked for downstream infrastructure improvements.
