Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone reported an 18% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to ₹3,682 cr for the quarter ended 30 Sep 2026. Revenue from operations increased 24% to ₹11,340.40 cr from ₹9,167.46 cr a year earlier, while EBITDA rose 23% to ₹6,807 cr. The company also raised its FY27 capex guidance by ₹3,000 cr, alongside higher revenue and EBITDA targets. 📈
For the first half of FY27, net profit rose 14% to ₹7,332 cr and revenue increased 21% to ₹22,161.20 cr. The company attributed the quarterly growth to higher cargo volumes and realisations at domestic ports, the ramp-up of overseas operations, a recovery in logistics and an expanded marine fleet. International ports remained the fastest-growing segment, with revenue up 71% and EBITDA more than tripling, according to the earlier report. ⚓
The company lifted FY27 revenue guidance by ₹1,000 cr to ₹44,000–46,000 cr and increased EBITDA guidance by ₹1,000 cr to ₹26,000–27,000 cr. The additional capex allocation indicates a larger investment programme alongside the expansion of ports, logistics and marine capacity. Total expenses rose 19% year-on-year to ₹7,252.76 cr in the September quarter, while operating expenses increased to ₹3,222.26 cr from ₹2,496.35 cr.
OI Charts data showed a close of ₹1,761 on 28 Oct 2026, up 0.39% on the day, with traded volume of 2,491,139 shares. The stock gained 0.6% over five sessions but remained down 1.3% over 20 sessions, within its 52-week range of ₹1,292 to ₹1,891. Futures open interest fell 1.1% alongside the price rise, indicating short covering rather than fresh long accumulation. The futures premium was 0.06%.
The nearest-expiry max pain was ₹1,760, while the largest call open interest stood at ₹1,800 and the largest put open interest at ₹1,680. The put-call ratio was 0.78 for the 23 Nov 2026 expiry. Traders will track capex execution, cargo volumes, overseas-port contribution and whether revenue and EBITDA delivery remains aligned with the raised FY27 ranges. 🚢
