India's Bharat Petroleum has made its first-ever purchase of 1 million barrels of Venezuelan oil, while HPCL Mittal Energy has bought the same amount for the first time in two years. The oil was sourced from trader Vitol and will boost India's imports to at least 6 million barrels through April. This move may enhance India's crude supply diversification.
