NHPC Limited has declared the Commercial Operation Date (CoD) for Unit #1 (250 MW) of the 2000 MW Subansiri Lower HE Project in Assam/Arunachal Pradesh, effective 20 Mar 2026. This milestone brings the total operational capacity to 750 MW across three units. Further commissioning dates for the remaining units will be announced later.
