Tata Power has secured a 324 MW/2,592 MWh pumped hydro storage contract from Solar Energy Corp. of India (SECI) for its 1 GW Bhivpuri project. This award is part of SECI’s initiative to procure 1.5 GW/12 GWh of capacity across India. The project will operate under a 40-year energy storage service agreement, with supply commencing within 36 months.
