Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL) has successfully commissioned its 2G Bioethanol Refinery in Bargarh, capable of producing 100 KL/day of fuel-grade bioethanol from rice straw. This facility aligns with India’s E20 Ethanol Blending Programme and emphasizes environmental sustainability with a Zero Liquid Discharge design. The project was completed with 20 million LTA-free manhours.
