Reliance Industries approved an enabling resolution to raise up to ₹15,000 crore through listed, redeemable non-convertible debentures. The securities may be secured or unsecured and could be issued through private placement in one or more tranches. The board approval gives the conglomerate an additional debt-funding option, but the filing did not specify the coupon, maturity, issue schedule or use of proceeds.
The announcement came alongside record September-quarter performance. Revenue crossed ₹3.62 lakh crore, while consolidated profit after tax rose 33.8% to ₹29,550 crore, according to the reported results. The company said its oil-to-chemicals, digital services and retail businesses supported the quarter. ₹15,000 crore NCD approval is therefore relevant for the group’s funding flexibility, while the earnings figures provide the operating context for its Energy ⚡, digital and consumer businesses.
OI Charts data for 30 Oct 2026 showed the stock at ₹1,165, down 0.21% on the day, with volume of 14,753,650 shares. The stock had declined 3.6% over five sessions and 2.7% over 20 sessions, and was close to its 52-week low of ₹1,152 recorded on 13 Oct 2026. Futures open interest rose 1.8% to 163,525,500 shares in a short build-up, while futures traded at a 0.50% premium to the underlying. Futures short build-up indicates that derivatives positioning was cautious despite the quarterly operating strength.
For the 23 Nov 2026 expiry, the put-call ratio stood at 0.66 and max pain was ₹1,200. The largest call open interest was at ₹1,200, while the largest put open interest was at ₹1,100. These levels frame the immediate derivatives setup: ₹1,200 is the principal overhead open-interest zone, while ₹1,100 is the key lower put-interest area. Traders will watch the final NCD terms, any tranche-wise issuance or rating disclosure, and whether the earnings momentum changes the recent downward price trend. The company’s next exchange filing will clarify the capital-raising structure and funding cost.
